» What’s Newton all about today?

Newton surely believes in Newton’s theory of gravitation, at these times it’s all about gravitation (push and pull). Having a very hectic day with his two daughters, his day starts at 5.30 am. Being an extremely caring father and a great husband, efficiently completing the everyday rituals, Newton heads for Not Just Jazz By The Bay Pune.   Taking care of the operations and functionality, along with all human emotional up’s and down’s Newton’s days and nights are endless. Newton sagacity in restaurant management runs very high.

» How did Not Just Jazz By The Bay happen?

Newton journey with Not Just Jazz By The Bay started four years back, when the basic structure for the bay was laid out. The place filled with jaunty happiness, the horizon looked dreamy, booze flowed freely and the unreal reality continued, footfalls increased as time went by. Newton moved  in from a known and small restaurant to a larger then life place was unimaginable for Newton. “As time went by many duplications of our  concepts built in & customers now a days have so many choices” says, Newton.

» Bands @ Not Just Jazz By The Bay? 

Newton has seen many bands mushrooming in Pune. Newton feels a filtrations in bands has happened in a big way in Pune. It’s all about quantity rather then quality. “Few bands really stand out these days due to which a major repetition on bands happens. We would like to get in more bands from Mumbai and other places but the costing runs high at this time of recession.  Customers want a change, a change in pattern and entertainment is important for customer’s evolution” says, Newton.  Newton and his team are working hard on new concepts like the change in menu, some tasty bands and high end sound of life…    

» Newton as a musician?

“I used to play the guitar. Having a Goanise backgrounds full of life and vim to explore the unknown, we used to watch video’s master a piece and then demonstrate. I have a great ear to understand music. Which is helping me a lot in band selection process” says, Newton

» Not just bands all the way?

“Bands need showmanship. Our bands in Pune lack that in a big way, its all about entertainment boss!” says, Newton. Having projected many international acts the standards set by them is huge, to get to those standards is tough but a try is worth it. The demand for live gigs for different strata or groups exit, but it’s the way our bands project it.

» Dus launch?

What an experience mad* mad* mad*, filmy stars all over, abhishek bachchan, pankaj kapoor, sanjay dutt it was wild. We even had baraka dutt joining us. Lavish Food and drinks been served, everything was larger then life.  

» Newton’s future?

It’s all about number nine the power to happen. In nine years Newton plans for his own restaurant with live music. The ambience will be what Newton dreams of everyday of his life. Run after your own imagination after all that’s what Newton did right...
